ANGOLAN PRESIDENT PRESENTED INAUGURATION CEREMONY OF CEIEC’S PROJECTS
According to Angola Press, the Angolan Head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos, inaugurated the new headquarters of the External Intelligence Services (SIE) in Luanda on November 11th, 2009. It is the fourth time the Angolan president presented the inauguration ceremony of projects accomplished by CEIEC.
The new headquarters of SIE is composed of four blocks and several other facilities, such as offices, gymnasium, swimming pool, leisure area, dining-hall and others. Accompanied by the SIE general director and other officials, the Angolan president toured the building, watched a video record of the project, and personally experienced the advanced equipments and intelligent facilities. The President highly appraised the new building and pointed out that it not only brought Angola the advanced technical equipments, but also provided a comfortable modern working environment for the government officers.
The inauguration of the building was also witnessed by the speaker of the Angolan Parliament, the Supreme Court chief justice, the Luanda governor and other officials. An Jiangtao, vice manager of the Southeast Africa section, and members of Angola office of CEIEC also attended the ceremony.
The Angolan president previously attended the inauguration ceremony of the TV Production Center of Angolan National Television Station, the water-supplying systems in three regions in North Angola, as well as the Cabinda Basketball Gymnasium. These projects are all undertaken by CEIEC and related to the politics, economy and culture of Angola. They are such important projects that the President and the government pay great attention to.
