ENSURING GROWTH TO FULFIL DEVELOPMENT OBJECTIVE
To ensure growth of business and exploit the potential of development, Cong Yadong, vice Chairman of Himalaya co. ltd, Chen Xu, President of CEIEC, Hong Guanqi, Chief Financial Officer and department managers concerned conducted a joint investigation and research among subsidiaries from July 19th to 24th, 2009. They successfully visited the following subsidiaries: Shenzhen Co., Shandong Co., Huadong Co., Ningbo Co., and Zhejiang Co..
During the investigation, the management attentively heard reports on business by leaders of subsidiaries, affirmed their achievements gained and analyzed, together with them, the difficulties and hardships encountered in business operation.
President Chen Xu repeatedly pointed out in the research that we are now facing double pressure of both long-term and immediate-term. As for the long-term pressure, China Electronics Corporation(CEC) has already set the operational target to become a member of the World 500 largest enterprises by 2015, which means CEIEC, as a wholly-owned subsidiary of CEC, has to double our own turn over or even more by then. While the immediate-term pressure is to achieve the objective of ensuring possible growth of business this year set in February 2009. Therefore, subsidiaries are requested to take strategic transformation as the key link, go all out and try every possible means to open up market and business operation, so as to offer its own bit to the fulfillment of CEC development objective.
